About Southeast Divison
A few years ago the Southeast Division was approached by the National Commandant and asked to produce a coin that the MCL Foundation could sell to raise funds. Vic Beverson of Louisiana designed the coin and contracted the manufacturer. The Department of South Carolina funded the coin and we in the Southeast bought the bulk of them. That process has been in action every year since. The coin drive has been so successful that PNC Helen Hicks dubbed us “The Magnificent Seven”.
We are about more than coins though. We fervently believe in the spirit of the MCL Mission Statement in that we take care of each other, our fellow Marines and their families. We are active in all the various programs promoted by the League; Young Marines, Toys For Tots, Card and Label program, the scholarship programs, the Eagle Scout Awards and others.
Each Department (State) and Detachment have specialized programs unique to them. Check into the area you are in by clicking on the Department button above and locate a Detachment close to you or contact the Department Commandant. If you have any difficulty you can go to the “CONTACT” page and we can help you from there.
